| Description |
| The Series 388E Mechanical Encoder is a high performance mechanical contact encoder. The 388E is recommended for 'relative reference' applications, where a starting point and setting level are stored in local memory, and a display is used to show the setting as the encoder shaft is rotated. A microprocessor can determine the direction and count the number of steps. A single 388E can replace multiple switches or up/down switch schemes in a product design for control of frequency, time, position, temperature, etc.
